New York

  • Wednesday, July 4th | Lomography Holiday: Store Closed

Jump lens first into the bustling streets of New York — one frame at a time. Switch up your perspective and learn something new from other analogue enthusiasts. Share, inspire and start shooting great urban imagery on a LomoWalk!

This LomoWalk is inspired by Jeremiah Moss, whose work on the blog Jeremiah's Vanishing New York and bestselling book of the same title has chronicled the changes afoot in the 21st century city. He's used a Lomography camera to snap some shots of the new NYC, and you'll use them as inspiration before heading out to take some of your own.

Get your ticket in the form of a Simple Use Film Camera to attend the LomoWalk. Please note that payment is required at the time of all online orders. The walk will start in the Rare Book Room, located at the 3rd floor of the Strand at 828 Broadway, 12th Street.

We want you to go out and shoot as much as possible this summer, that’s why we will be offering a weekend long sale on a handful of our cameras. Celebrate the summer heat and hot deals here at the Lomography NYC Shop!

We are happy to be showcasing the work of New York-based photographer Esteban Chacin at our Lomography Gallery! Esteban’s work will explore all the ins and outs of analog photography from home processed film in both color and monochrome!

Exhibition will be from 18:00 to 20:00.

Exhibitions and parties are FREE. Workshops are $10 ($7 for students) unless otherwise noted. Admission includes a free roll of film and a loaner camera if applicable. All participants will receive a 10% coupon for the store. Space is limited to 10 participants per workshop unless otherwise noted. Drop by our store or email us at shopnyc@lomography.com to hold your place!

This workshop is aimed to people who want to know and develop an old photographic technique, handmade and with a very colorful finish. Direct carbon is a historical process that gives a very pictorial aesthetic to the image.
