Museum of Photographic Arts Hosts Lomo'Instant Camera Event!

If you've ever wanted to test-run some of our Lomography Instant Cameras, The Museum of Photographic Arts a.k.a. MOPA in San Diego, California are offering that chance via their summer nights series on July 26th.

MOPA's Summer Nights series is presenting a rare opportunity to try out Lomo'Instant cameras! Check out a camera from the MOPA Shop and purchase a pack of film to begin your adventure. At the end of your shoot, submit your shots for a chance to win prizes and be featured in MOPA's Instagram. The event is on a drop-in basis so no need arrive right at 5:30 pm; however cameras must be returned promptly at 7:30 pm.

10-shot pack of Instax mini film will be for sale for $15 or 20 pack for $ 26.

In order to get to know the cameras and spur some competition, MOPA are encouraging use of the following techniques:

Multiple exposure, 2. Long Exposure

Close Up, 4. Splitzer

Color filter, Flash Gel Filter

Portrait, 8. Selfie

Two Freestyle!

At the end of your shoot, submit your shots in any or all of the categories for a chance to win prizes and be featured in MOPA's Instagram!
