Closing Reception Recap: Philippines' Snapshots of a Happy Childhood Exhibition

All good things must come to an end and our Snapshots of a Happy Childhood Exhibition in the Philippines is no exemption. The showcase which features three displays is a collaboration between Lomography, the Austrian Embassy - Manila, SOS Children's Village, SM Supermalls and Sunny16.

The Snapshots of a Happy Childhood Exhibition's closing reception was held on September 20 at SM Aura Premier and had a simple program to celebrate the historic LomoWall project in the Philippines.

The closing reception started with a few remarks from SM Supermall's key representatives and the Austrian Ambassador to the Philippines Bita Rasoulian, followed by the final ribbon cutting ceremony and a dance number by the kids from SOS Children's Villages in Manila. Food and drinks were served at the same time that attendees enjoyed analogue photography with the Lomo'Instant Automat and the Lomo'Instant Square — the photos of which are shared in this article!

The exhibition features three displays and these are Snapshots of a Happy Childhood LomoWall Exhibition which is a 6ft high and 14ft wide Lomowall, second is the Captured Moments in a Loving Home Exhibition which is a separate wall showing the Simple Use Film Camera photos taken by the kids of SOS Children’s Village in Manila and lastly, the Lomography Classics Exhibition which features an exciting array of Lomography products.
