Zac Farro, although best known as the drummer of the rock band Paramore and singer of the retro-indie band Halfnoise, also enjoys film photography on the side, documenting his life on the daily and on tour. When creating his photo book "In Transit," Zac wanted to show viewers how he sees the world while on tour through his film camera.

In celebration of Zac's book "In Transit" being released, the books were available for purchase at the event. Photographers Josh Goleman, Phoenix Johnson, and Sophia Ragomo shared work alongside Zac, covering the walls with photographs all shot with film. Zac's band Halfnoise also put together a DJ set, creating a high-energy atmosphere for the entire night.

The space was packed from open to close, with lots of friends and new faces coming out to join in the fun. The love of art and film photography brings people together in ways like nothing else and we are so proud to be a part of that community.

The LomoChrome Metropolis is the first truly new color negative film to be released in years. Following the success and now legendary status of the LomoChrome Purple and LomoChrome Turquoise, this new emulsion will be available in 35 mm, 110, 120, and 16 mm. Drenching your photos in muted colors, poppy contrast, and desaturated tones, this film is dark, grungy, quite unlike anything you've seen before. Back us on Kickstarter and help us usher in a new era in film photography!
