Hello! Could you tell us when you started photography?

I began to seriously start photography in high-school, I was first taking photos of my friends, then it began to become more important in my life. I was mainly shooting in digital, portraits and lifestyle images of our moments spent together. I then found the Super Fuji analogue camera that belonged to my parents and I started to test new things, and I still shoot with this camera today.

You gave a try to our Petzval 80.5 mm, what were your first impressions upon seeing and holding the Petzval 80.5 lens?

I am a big fan of wide-angle lenses so it was quite a challenge for me. I'm not used to the viewing angles and the mobility of lenses like the Petzval 80.5. I loved the fact that it's fully manual, it's perfect to experiment all the aptitudes of the lens.

Could you tell us a bit more about the photos we are showing today?

It was the end of a slow period: the blank page as we like to call it. So I wanted to show what surrounds me in my daily life, my friends or new encounters I made, simple and true moments.

How does the New Petzval 80.5 mm f/1.9 MKII Art Lens fits with your style?

The lens gave me a new perspective on my practice and the way I take a picture and highlighted some more discrete elements of the subjects.

You had already used our Petzval 55 mm for other photo shootings. Do you prefer one of our two Petzval you have tried?

I think that I prefer the 55 mm solely because I'm used to this kind of short focal lengths. But I think that for details, close-ups and close portraits, the Petzval 80.5mm is very powerful for people who like this type of images.

Any advice to share with people shooting with the New Petzval 80.5 mm f/1.9 MKII Art Lens for the first time?

Necessarily a bit of patience! As it's fully manual, it will be more complicated to shot moments on the spot. But you just need to get the hang of!

Some news you would like to share with us?

I'm working on personal fashion and video projects... I have some events and exhibitions coming but I can't tell you more because I don't have the official dates to share yet aha! But if you are interested, I will share the info on my Instagram!
