Capturing Sunlight: Photographer Tungtungtung Stunning Shots With the Babylon Kino B&W ISO 13 Film
2 13 Share TweetTo fulfill the dream of our beloved black and white film lovers, we are proud to introduce the new Babylon Kino B&W ISO 13 film! We invited Hong Kong-based photographer Tungtungtung to test this low ISO wonder, discover the sunlit portraits and landscapes captured in monochrome!
"The lowest ISO of film I had used before is 100. For this shooting, I took my Nikon FM SLR camera with a large aperture lens, with f/1.4 - f/5.6 and 1 - 1/125 shutter speed setting. When I got the film, I think of the nice sunshine, to capture the clean Monochrome shots, with my favourite elements: portraits, plants, and ocean."
About her favorite photograph from the series:
"When I took this photo, there was a light on the plant. With no aids from a tripod, I was required to hold my camera steady with 1-second shutter speed. Although this isn't a super sharp one, I like the soft and dreamy texture of the photo."
"For next shooting with Babylon Kino film, I will work with the tripod to experiment with long exposure creation."
Thanks Tungtungtung for her nice sharing! Please also find her updates on her Instagram (@tung903 ) and website . Don't forget to preorder your rolls on our online shop!
