What do you do and what got you started with photography?

I started over ten years ago by taking pictures of my friends. Then, after high school, studying law became my priority, so I had to stop. Soon after graduation, I realized what my true passion was. I took my camera out, and here we are again. Now I think about photography more seriously, but I don't want to jinx it.

How are you holding up during the quarantine?

I’m good, thank you, just trying to stay safe and healthy. I’m keeping myself busy by taking some self-portraits so I don’t get rusty.

Any photo series in the works? What's the story behind it?

I took like 15 rolls of self-portraits. I’m experimenting with different types of films to improve my future work. I’m particularly fascinated with the combination of light and smoke.

What subject do you miss photographing?

Definitely people. I love building relationships with all my models. There is a different story to capture behind each person.

What is the first thing you would like to do once things get back to normal?

I would love to organize a big photoshoot with other photographers, makeup artists, stylists, and several models. Obviously without any masks!
