An Upside Down World with Naturally Mirrored Photos by robertofiuza

One of the best mirror shots is one that creates natural symmetry with composition. Lomographer @robertofiuza is always looking for unique ways of seeing the world. Check out his recent Community album on mirrored photos.

With many shot at a low angle, Roberto took advantage of wide, clear puddles and bodies of water and used the reflections of the scenery and subjects to form these clean, upside-down compositions. To get everything in balance, he centers the line between the “up” and “down” scenery. The photos were taken in different locations in Portugal.

Roberto used various films such as expired rolls, slide films and color-shifting films (e,g, the LomoChrome Metropolis 120)

LomoChrome Metropolis XR 100–400 (120)

This film comes with a unique chemical formula specifically developed in our Lomography film manufactory, which desaturates colors, mutes tones and makes contrasts pop.
