Viva Las Vegas! As LomoWalks continue their comeback in bringing the analogue community together in person, this June we found ourselves in Nevada for LomoWalk Metropolis: Las Vegas. The event was hosted by Edden Amber and supported by local lab PhotoShack. We gave the first 10 participants to sign up rolls of LomoChrome Metropolis. Let’s recap how Las Vegas looks on film through the eyes of some of the participating photographers.
"I've been a longtime supporter of Lomography, and this was my first time attending their Photowalk and shooting Metropolis (135 mm). I enjoy the contrasty nature and the 'Bleach Bypass' look of Metropolis film and will shoot a roll of 120 mm, next. In my opinion this is a perfect film to emote a gritty and grungy environment. These images were shot at ISO 400 and also ISO 200 on my Nikon F5 with a 24 mm-70 mm lens. The film was processed and scanned by a co-partner of the Photowalk and my favorite lab in Vegas, the Photo Shack. I'm definitely looking forward to more Lomography Photowalks, as the process of shooting with film-minded people makes it a memorable experience."

"I appreciate you guys for putting this together, I just wish I didn't have to leave early for work. Hopefully next time I'll be there the whole time. So glad it happened, we have a smaller group of analogue shooters in our IG chats and we try to do photo walks every now and then. But this was a big refresher since it brought together more people and new faces. Love what ya'll are doing!"

"I joined the photo walk to meet new people. It’s always fun watching others and seeing what they find interesting enough to snap a photo of."
