Experiments and Beyond — a Photo Gallery by @fidannazimqizi

It's been quite some time since we interviewed photographer-editor Fidan Nazim Qizi. You might remember her from her absolutely beautiful experiments using alternative printing processes, cyanotypes, and collages. Now, we're back with another round of the freshest images from her LomoHome.

As expected, Fidan doesn't disappoint and we don't think she ever will. Her approach to capturing the alternative side of film photography is so calculated that she continues to amaze with her work. Aside from that, Fidan constantly looks for ways to push her creativity to new boundaries.

”I think everyone who loves photos should use these methods. Because the main memories remain. Memories can take us far. They make the moments we engrave in photos last forever. We must always learn, including myself.” - Fidan Nazim Qizi

Her drive is inspiring and it is impressive that she never seems to run out of ideas when it comes to film experiments.

Film photography and darkroom processes are challenging enough in their own right. There are just so many things to consider and techniques to master that sometimes even veteran photographers become overstimulated and burnt out with the process. But not Fidan. She takes the challenges head-on, never choosing the path of least resistance. That's one way to break free from any creative rut.

We would like to thank Fidan for sharing her images with the community. Stay updated with her work by following her LomoHome.
