@Noesoto's Life Through the Lens of the Diana F+

When looking at @noesto's album, simply entitled 120 mm, we are given a look into her world via her choice of camera, the Diana F+. With its dreamy, highly saturated photos combined with easy-to-use capabilities, @noesoto records moments of her fun-filled life with each square still.

The Diana F+ is a much-loved camera by the community, being a cult favorite ever since its reintroduction in the late 2000s. Known for being the lo-fi camera, pictures mostly come out with deep vignettes and splashes of color that make each photo eye-catching. Available now with different film formats such as 35 mm, 110 mm and even instant film, the original 120 mm made it accessible for many to try out medium format film.

Looking at @noesoto's album, her photos show tales of her daily life in A Coruña, a port city located in northwest Spain. Filled with pictures ranging from small intimate get-togethers to street snaps, @noesoto shows the range and capabilities of the Diana F+ with diverse subjects and film stocks including Lomography Color Negative ISO 800, LomoChrome Purple and LomoChrome Metropolis.

Having only been using the Diana F+ for about a year, @noesto gives us her thoughts on the camera in her own words.

I have been using this camera for a year now. My love for it started with the Diana Instant. I love the ability to use double exposure, since that way I can portray different moments in a single image. For me it is a camera for daily use, I shoot without thinking much, without trying to make anything perfect, capturing specific moments of my daily life. My advice for using the Diana is to let your creativity run wild. I recommend its use outdoors, but if you want to capture something indoors, always use the flash.
