This past July we collaborated with experienced fashion photographer Jason Rivera for a "Beginner Analogue Workshop" in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The workshop was held at Almighty Gallery and participants had the opportunity to shoot with a mix of Lomography 35 mm cameras as well as Lady Grey B&W film. Lighting was provided by the team over at StellaPro Lights.
The day was led by Jason, who showed participants how easy it is to take the step from digital photography into the analogue world. Those who were unable to make it in person received a digital recap video of the workshop so that they wouldn't miss out. Let's take a look at how the day came along!
"As an admirer of portrait and fashion photography, it was such a neat experience to get insight into all that goes into getting such great shots from setting up, lighting, tethering, and directing the model. Although I have been shooting on film for a bit now it was actually my first time shooting in b&w. I love how the lady grey 400 roll really captures and highlights excellent (or lack of) lighting. Overall a super cool experience!"

“The day was designed to build community and have a refreshing take on film photography that leaves all types photographers wanting to explore fashion photography with Lomography 35 mm film.”
