Happy Birthday Kozyavka (small insect)! With this words my brother gave me this – “Moskva 4”.

Camera is equipped with Industar 23 lens with focal length of 110 millimeters and utilize a zone-focus system that can adjust from about 1,5 meter to infinity. Has 2 Screw Mounts for tripod in it and shutter speeds can be set from Bulb to 1/250 of a second. Apertures vary from f/4.5 to f/22. It was designed to accept two image formats 6×9 and 6×6. It doesn’t have a cold shoe, but there is a synchronizer for the flash.

“Moskva 4” was manufactured from 1955 till 1958 by KMZ and was produced about 60 000. Easy to carry, because it is a folding and the camera body have a pen (that can be convenient if you suddenly, for whatever reasons, don’t have the coffer for it). The camera also equipped with a lock on re-exposure, but this doesn’t mean that it doesn’t make mistakes.

Images from this camera are obtained by very clear, although more accurately determine. What happens if I say that the images are somewhat similar to the images from “Lubitel”, but still very special camera and images are special. In hands it is something marvelous, like history in your hands . You may reach the time when your grandparents was young and be nostalgic. By the way, just like the “Lubitel”, before shooting remember to press the shutter lever.
