As a lover of literature, I would not normally condone the mistreatment of books, but this one, by an author whose previous works I love very much, was a great disappointment to me, so I think it deserves to be nailed to death...! ;-)

    I really like this picture! It reminds me also the main scene of the film "Centochiodi" by Ermanno Olmi, an italian director (I'm not sure it's easy to find it in English...)
