Processing Color Negative in BW chemicals

I was curious to see what kind of pictures will come out of a color negative processed with BW chemicals. So I took my Belair with Belairgon 114mm lens, shot 2 rolls of Lomo CN 400 and processed them in Kodak D-76 BW developper for 8'30. I couldn't decide if it was better to scan it in color or in BW, so here are the results of both scans

This lens looks a lot sharper than the normal plastic lenses that came with the Belair.

@deepfried_goodness: yes, the belairgon lens is sharper than the plastic lens, no doubt about that. It's kind of heavy and looks well constructed. With this lens (or the 90mm Belairgon) the Belair is worth of shooting with

Good to hear. My 90mm Belargon lens has not been delivered yet. Hopefully it will get here soon. I've not been too impressed with the quality of the plastic ones that came with the camera. They seem to have focus issues at infinity. They work fine for closer subjects.

@deepfried_goodness: the plastic lens could be ok with a lot of sun shooting at f16, but it remains lo-fi... The only issue I got with my Belair is the automatic exposure that works very randomly... but without batteries, shooting at 1/125 with the 2 apertures, is still ok
