On 18th May at exactly 18:18 CET I made this shot on one of the most famous squares of Belgium... More proof you can create your own color magic using the right filters!

This one had better end up in the movie - it's epic...!!

@buckshot Truth is I didn't really feel like going out shooting today, being cold and grey. Even when the negatives were drying I didn't see much coming out of it. But when the scanner showed the first preview... my jaw literaly dropped to the floor. To me, this photo is not something I will top anytime soon! So glad you really like it too! Thanks for that :-)

Finding inspiration (and enthusiasm) to go out and shoot on a grey day is one of the hardest things to do, I find - but you proved here that it's definitely sometimes worth it...!

@Sandravo These are amazing! They remind me of that expensive Revolog Kolor film, except you did it yourself. Would you mind explaining a bit more how you used the filters? Thanks. xx

Thanks @mafiosa! I tried to repeat the process today, changed a few things, but it didn't turn out as I wanted. Have a look and give me your honest opinion: www.lomography.com/homes/sandravo/albums/1958259-splitzer-a…

@juano @sarah-addison-dobard Hi guys, I promised I would get back to you on how I made these pictures. The trick is using a splitzer combined with color filters. As the Lubitels lens lies really deep, the splitzing isn't as defined as with an LC-A, which is what creates the larger overlap of both images. Here is the tipster on making a splitzer for your Lubitel that also lets you attach color filters to the front: www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/05/27/camera-modif…
