Lametta

In August I was editing for a German TV-Station during a Northern musicfestival called Deichbrand (the burning dyke). Didn't see too much of the whole thing, but the bass is still playing pinball in my guts. The main act was “die Toten Hosen“ with their singer Campino, who kind of assemble the German Rolling Stones and are touring since more then twentyfive years. Anyhow, I was lucky to be standing in the security area in front of the stage. And Campino jumped right in front of me on a massive speaker. I made my pictures and right after I was escorted to a section, that was further from the action. But I had my moneyshot and the tinsel was fired out of lametta-canons.

Breaking Boundaries: Festivals

Attending a festival is a great way to introduce oneself to a locality's rich history and culture.
