Club of 500 (Philippines #42)

So in Banaue, in the mountains of northern luzon, some of the esteemed elders display the great fabrics and costumes of their culture to visitors. On one morning we were going to the caves of Sagada and stopped by at one viepoint. I was instantly enchanted by the beauty of the wrinkles faces of the elders and snapped away. You usually pay a few coins as a token of appreciation. I grabbed a bill and passed it over. I only then realized that it was a 500 pesos bill, which is roughly 10 euros and gets you quite far in the philippines. Maybe a tenth would have been reasonable for such a service. But hey, of course I didn't withdrew my hand and I was glad to make them happy for a day...
