A Favorite to Cross-Process: Kodak Ektachrome E100G
written by weihsuan on 2011-08-09 #gearKodak Ektachrome E100G is a professional slide film from Kodak. Although quite well received for E-6 processing, I personally prefer to cross process it. Colors are not wildly shifted, just basically saturation and increased contrast. Do try this if you prefer the colors to be preserved and enhanced!

AGFA CT Precisa 200: A Film with the Pox
written by wil6ka on 2012-06-28 #gearWe are all in love with the marvelous and unchallenged pinnacle of colour-cross-explosion of the Agfa CT Precisa 100. In the quest to find films with likewise features, I looked in the neighborhood and found another gangsta: the Agfa CT Precisa 200. But, this black sheep in the family surprised me with unprecedented effects. This film is sick – it has the pox!

Cross-Processed Fuji Velvia 50 RVP: Keeps the Spirit of Your Scenes
written by andyresag on 2012-04-12 #gearA while ago I ordered Fuji Velvia 50 RVP 35mm color slide film because I liked the idea of getting very fine grained pictures it promises to deliver. It is a slow speed film that, if treated with xpro, features slight to medium versatile color shifts and very saturated colors. Compared to the Velvia ISO 100's typical red and purplish hues, cross-processing the Velvia ISO 50 brings you more subtle but still distinctive results. It's not the best choice for night photography. Now, the colors that it brings is what I like about it.

Imation Chrome 100 - Closing a Ferrania Trilogy
written by wil6ka on 2013-08-30 #gearFerrania came out with new print and slide films and I am jumping up and down with joy. For this reason I just made a review about the old Ferrania Solaris Chrome. It’s said, that this new slide film has an emulsion which was derived from the 3M Scotch Chrome 100. For this film, I made a review already a few months back. But I think there is one last film, which falls into the same range and same emulsion. So to make the film trilogy complete I will introduce the Imation Slide 100.

Ilford Dia 200 - Singing the Blues
written by wil6ka on 2013-04-30 #gearOnce I laid eyes on that offer on eBay I was instantly stunned. There was a slide film of Ilford. The British film producer came out with their own branded color transparencies? I made sure to win the bunch and tried the Ilford Dia 200 myself. One of the reasons I liked it is because it used the German name for slidefilm: Dia.

Konica Centuria (35mm, 100 iso) User-Review
written by wil6ka on 2009-03-31 #gearI think this is one of the most underrated films. I have always received reliable results and still I sometimes really got surprised. While the slide side of life here is very clear and maybe even a bit light sensitive the x-pro development shows a grainy grain, which is grainy as can be.
