• Apparently I love Flowers

  It was a very hot day with sweltering dry heat wind and relentless sun. A good day for a very quick dart through the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. There were a few flowers that had not yet burned in the hot Texas sun so I took Sardina and captured the survivors. I love the flat wide photos I get with the Sardina lens and play with depth of field to give the photos dimension. All in all it was a very fun 15 minutes gathering shots before I melted.

  I decided to use the green filter, following an accidental tip by peropero: http://www.lomography.com/homes/peropero/blog/2425-redscale-xr-and-a-green-filter-together-were-one-of-my-happiest-accidents. At first I thought it didn't worked but I can notice it in the sky and the sea... great tip, obrigada! :)

  This bridge, very close to Artis, the Amsterdam Zoo, is called the 'Nijlpaardenbrug'. As you can see from the shape of the sign on the bridge, it means 'Hippobridge'. This is my favorite bridge in Amsterdam :)
