shared by lazybuddha on 2011-10-19As the weeks went by, my love for her became an obsession, as is the nature of unrequited love. I spent every penny I had on her, trying to delay the inevitable. I had always naively believed that money couldn’t buy love and it hurt me to admit that, had I been richer she would stay with me longer. But there would come a time when even money couldn’t buy her, like a flame that burned too bright she couldn’t last. So I became an amateur meteorologist, studying the horizon like an anxious parent watching their child take their first, faltering steps, looking for cloud formations and changes in the wind, trying desperately to make the most of our time together. But the happiness I felt in her presence was now tinged with sadness as I could feel her slipping away.

Chuo Freeway
shared by hodachrome on 2011-10-20Expose lower half first, and set a tripod upside down and expose upper half in the same way as 1st shot. To turn tripod 180 degrees, I used two panheads. About 10 seconds each. Using a cable release and black adhesive tape (to mask the light sensor of LC-A+). Vivid blue or purple colours are by trucks decorated with light bulbs. Needed patience and concentration...

shared by bccbarbosa on 2011-11-05Some more splitted images.. this time redscale. I really enjoy creating figures with the splitzer and sometimes shooting some more layers over it. Lots of multiple exposures... If you like this you might like this too: http://www.lomography.com/homes/bccbarbosa/albums/1770323-splitting

Balloon Race II
shared by megs79 on 2010-09-23Underexposed multi layered photo. I can imagine there is a true sense of wonder and isolation soaring above the clouds in a baloon looking down on Earth. There are a lot of reasons this lomograph is one of my favorites. It is my most popular lomograph. It is a double exposure and I love doubles. I also love hot air balloons and hope to one day ride in one.

shared by earlybird on 2011-12-11Two-faced - that is the best description for our Photo of the Day. Two faces of one yet probably expressing something particular. It sure is interesting and captured in lovely analogue! (POTD 01.16.12)
