For someone who was previously disinterested in photographic work, his newfound passion for photography is astounding. His photos have an edgy feel to them; and for someone who hasn’t been shooting for a long time, his distinct style is – quite surprisingly – discernible. Meet this emerging fashion photographer from Buenos Aires who shoots on film and recently, the Diana+ Premium Glass Lens.

Please tell us about yourself.

I’m 26 years old. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I enjoy music and film a lot. I’m not a big fan of photographers, but 10 months ago I found in analog photography a therapy which became a passion.

What inspires you and your photography?

Cinema is what inspires me the most to take pictures. I like choosing the correct frame when observing an image. My inspiration is based on objects, animals and bodies. I take my camera with me, everywhere and always find something interesting on the go.

How was your experience with the Diana + Premium Glass Lens?

It was much fun using this camera, and also quite challenging. Diego from c41 photo, colleague and also friend, was waiting for me at his shop with a surprise, the Diana together with and some rolls of film to experiment with it.

What advice do you have for new Diana+ Lens users?

I recommend being accurate with the distance in order to achieve the sharpness that the lens can provide. Shoots are done without a flash, therefore it is important to pay attention to the aperture of diaphragm.

From the ones you shot, which one is your favorite?

My favorite picture is the one with a girl that looks like she’s from the ’90s, where the result was a sweet wait and there were no screens behind the camera.

What message do you have for new Lomographers or analog photographers?

I recommend that you use Lomography Lady Grey film with the Diana F to take advantage of its 120mm format and of its simplicity for the double or multiple exposures. I suggest living with your camera, taking it for a walk, letting it become your best friend. When you read or observe things, you turn an interesting person to talk to, but when experimenting, you obtain good results.
