Film Photography Day - Lomo'Instant Automat Glass Launch Party Recap

To celebrate the launch of the Lomo’Instant Automat Glass Magellan and Film Photography day, Lomography Gallery Store Soho threw a party. We asked press and amigos to test the camera to showcase in the gallery space for the event. We also had the Levis Classics team use it to photograph their party featuring the band Second Sons for Jocks And Nerds magazine, alongside many others.

New and old friends and amigos of Lomography came to celebrate. A shiny silver halide crystal photobooth was set up in homage to film photography and the magical materiality of film. John Linger of Neil's Children and Girls in Synthesis got the party vibe going with a wonderful vinyl DJ set of Funk, Soul, Disco and Motown. The dance floor was full all evening long.

There was also a wonderful mustache topped cake from choccywoccydoodah and made some fabulous multi-coloured cocktails to celebrate in full colour.
