Lomopedia: Lomo'Instant Square

Instant photography is fun, exciting, and fuss-free as it should be. Everyone should be able to enjoy shooting with an instant camera or while being photographed by a person carrying one. Lomography thought exactly that and released the Lomo’Instant Square into the market.

Lomo'Instant Square

The Lomo’Instant Square is every bit as fun as an instant camera is made to be. It is fully-automatic for perfectly-exposed photos, has creative features like the unlimited multiple exposures and Bulb mode for long exposure shots, and a 95mm glass lens that promises sharp images with striking detail. All of these components make for an already wonderful shooting experience but Lomography decided to go the extra mile and bring all of these characteristics to a new film format.

Lomography has done the regular Instax Mini and Instax Wide prints but now took a step further by going into the square instant film format. This move allows the users to master a different film format in the field of instant photography while bringing attention to subjects in the center of the frame.

Lomo'Instant Square

Aesthetics-wise, the Lomo’Instant Square channels an old school vibe with its bellows design. This feature pays homage to the cameras of old by reviving their classic styling -- the Lomo’Instant Square opens up the bellows when it’s ready to be used. The bellows construction also makes the Lomo’Instant Square a compact camera to carry as it closes conveniently for storage.

Lomo'Instant Square

All in all, the new Lomo’Instant Square is a fusion of modern design and classic styling. It lets people take on different creative situations with style and a renewed sense of adventure and fun.
