One of the film communities favorite don't you think? The Canon AE-1. This one in particular use to belong to my grandmother. I've made a few great shots with it; but unfortunately the advance has failed; but still a great display camera.

Did you ever try to fix it? I had a loose advance in a Pentax and had it lying in a cupboard for years thinking it was broken. Until I just gave it a try realising that it was easy to fix.

@carsten-schmitt I tried fiddling with it like most of my cameras when they start acting up. But it's not one of my work horses and honestly I don't like the way it meters; I'm a total Nikon whore when it comes to camera and I'm used to Aperture Priority because of it. I have nothing against Canons; I just don't have much equipment for them and honestly I've never owned one that's worked perfectly. This will be the second AE-1 I've retired.

    Sorry, I am a Nikonista!
