Mix drawing and shots

I was very impressed by Charlie Watts' silhouette, his shoulder against a street light in a very cool attitude. This photo can be found on the cover of an excellent jazz album, entitled "long ago and far away" warehouseofrock.blogspot.fr/2009/03/charlie-watts-long-ago-…. Several years ago I tried to learn drawing and I made a drawing of this record jacket. Recently I saw a Buckshot album made with a mask with Andy Warhol banana www.lomography.com/homes/buckshot/albums/1888527-banana-spl… . Then, I decided to transfer my drawing on a transparent sheet exactly like Buckshot has done www.lomography.com/homes/buckshot/photos/17000485 but with my holga and, of course, black and white film! I hope that Charlie Watts will be glad for strolling in my town for free!

Great concept and fantastic execution, J-L! And I'm sure ol' Charlie would be very happy to know he walks the streets of Montpellier in your fantasy ;-) You should use this mask again on a quick trip to Villefranche-sur-Mer, then you can claim you have exclusive photos of him from his time with the Stones recording Exile on Main Street, and sell them for a fortune...! :-) Really, though - great album, mon ami (et, franchement, mille fois mieux que mon petite aventure avec la banane...!)

@buckshot Earning a fortune in France is not a good idea! François Hollande will tax me at 75 percent! What we can do is first you help me to obtain the UK nationality using your influence with David Cameron or Mr. Bean, then I will do the photo at Villefranche-sur-Mer and finally we share the fortune (40-60). Ok? Say to Cameron that I can whistle God save the Queen in B flat (this can help convincing him)
