The Coll de Pal
This is one of my favourite roads. The Coll de Pal links the Berguedà (Barcelona province) with the Cerdanya (Girona province) in a scenic road instead of the tunnel of the Cadí. It is a narrow road, with tarmac only at the Barcelona section, so you need a 4 wd car in order to finish the section in Girona. The views are breathtaking, specailly the views of the Pedraforca, and there are chamois on the top of the Coll de Pal (you can see some in the picture of the hill with snow, the points you can see in the snow are chamois, there were around 40 of them!)
