Today we also bought new, um, well ya know those silver plate-type things on top of your stove? The things under the coils, where a macaroni or a strip of pepper will sometimes fall if your cooking gets outta hand? Ya, we bought new ones of those. Ours looked like they had been there since our apartments were built, some 30 years ago! There is an entirely new air to our kitchen now, as if we've moved up from frozen food to fine dining.
