Today we biked down the bike path, something we haven't done in months. There's been so much sun lately that we felt the sudden urge to just get up and go! Of course the day we picked to do this turned out cold and overcast, but we still had a great time. Along the way there is a little sheltered area that would be great for picnicking; it overlooks the water and has a big bench/table area.
