due to the fact that is strictly forbidden take pictures inside this place I must turn myself in a lomothief, these pictures are taken under a close human and technological surveillance, shooting from the hip trying to stay always at the end of the visitors queue. Too bad you weren't allowed to take pictures. Imagine these with a colour flash..... :)

@frau_inga oh no! flashes can destroy this very particular environment, the stalgmites and the stalagtites are still alive and some of them are dated back more than 100.000 years and are still growing :) it's obvious that there is a commercial exploitation behind this prohibition, you can buy all the photos you want at the gate in of this magnificence of the nature. ant the ticket is 15,50 euro :)

@superlighter Of course! All for the money! If a flash damages the caves, it's okay not to use it. But I suppose the place will look amazing in all kinds of dazzling colours. :)

@frau_inga absolutely, however bear in mind that my pictures are a pale reproduction of the "absurd" beauty of that place! about the artificial lights inside the caves I must tell you that these lights are designed by one of the masters of lights of the Italian cinema and television production, he emphasized the original colors of the various concretions that change according to the mineral content.
