Rain Beats Me To The Outdoors

The months of June to August bring in the south swell in the Philippines. It's as certain as death and taxes. Needless to say all the surfers I know often scramble about this time of the year to pool in last minute roadtrips to farfetched areas ... even if just for a day trip and despite the sobbing, gloomy rain.

It renders me useless and utterly lazy at the beach during this time of the year, but it seems to be well worth the trip for all concerned (i.e. surfers).
