I just got my first Diana and very much in love, biking through Amsterdam. I didn´t know it at the moment, but this would be the last week living Amsterdam. I desperately missed Sweden. Meatballs, herring, clean soberly decorated apartments a la IKEA showroom-style, real concrete walls (not Amsterdam papier machier ones)(practically all the things that made me leave Sweden in the first place), space, company and friends. Alienated, left out and probably the first sunny afternoon in a 1000 years, I dangerously trying to find my way in the murderous traffic. After a few close encounters with trams, vespas, cars, busses I remember thinking: what if the world would end this very second. All of the sudden the literally opened, dark skies flying in. All i could think of was the old Morissey lyric: "come Armageddon! come Armageddon! come!
