On our last day in Kyoto, we visited the city centre, the Nijo-jo and the Museum of Manga. In a small street near the Nijo-jo, we found a strange coffee stand, in the back of a courtyard, where a young man silently prepares a filter coffee according to the rules of the art, to the sound of jazz vinyl records... a timeless parenthesis...
