   There is an copy of Opel Kadet maded by relocated to the Moscow manufacture of Opel. I wouldnt sad its beautiful car. But VAZ Niva was originally created in Russia. And its brand new class of cars known today as "паркетник"

   @hrabco "паркетник" or crossover, or SUV, as I understand. Yep, Niva was the first in that class. But apart from Niva, iirc, Lada Sputnik (Samara) was also an original design, and some of later Moskvitch models, like 412. Yet still, even for it being an Opel Kadet copy, I can't help but love that thing. All these old car designs are just my soft spot really.
