Hey Axel, welcome back to our Online Magazine! Please tell us your thoughts about our brand new lens.

It is really a great concept because it gives you a lot of options to work with the bokeh.

How was your shooting experience?

I had a very good feeling shooting with the lens and had no problems using it, but the manual focusing is tricky sometimes.

What did you enjoy the most about this lens?

I really loved the nice bokeh and I enjoyed that you can achieve different looks with just one lens. Usually you have to change lenses to get that nice bokeh.

How does the Bokeh Control function help you in your portraiture work?

With the large aperture and the bokeh effects, it is easy to separate your model from the background and achieve a dreamy look.

In which situation did you use the lens and in which situation would you recommend using it?

I used the lens mostly at night, because I wanted to highlight the bokeh and it really worked great, but since there was rain and thunderstorms all week, I didn't really have a chance to test the lens more.

This lens uses the over-correction or under-correction of spherical aberrations to produce these different creative bokeh looks. In your opinion, does beauty come from imperfection?

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. For me personally it is sometimes imperfection with a blurry lively look and sometimes a super crisp shot. So it’s good to have all the lenses!

This is not your typical full-frame mirrorless lens. What do you think of the Lomography Art Lenses range in general, and the idea of bringing historic references and character to the digital world?

I like the range a lot, because it is something completely different to your normal lenses. It is the fourth lens of the series that I really worked with.

What is your personality? Soft, classic or bubbly?

All – it really depends on what I am shooting. The soft focus worked very well with the aperture plates for me, but I also liked the bubble effect.
