Translate the complexities of human emotions into compelling photographs.
Photographing people is not just about the aesthetics or technicalities — it's all about capturing their story. For this challenge, we're in search of portraits that showcase strong reactions and facial expressions. Here are some tips to get you started:
- Go for candid! Stand in the corner and observe the crowd around. Who do you think will make the sweetest smile? Who will make the most comical gestures?
- Before clicking the shutter, take some time to know your subjects and listen to them. It's the key to make those genuine feelings come out!
- Don't forget to be respectful and emphatic. Allow some space for people to be comfortable in expressing themselves.
Each participant may submit up to 10 photographs. This competition serves as the qualifying round for the Human Stories category.
