Claudi and Annosz were two incredible, yet unexpected, surprises in my Berlin days. I got to know them little by little but we ended up building a really strong friendship, based on mutual respect and support. Before I left the city, to celebrate all the hilarious times we shared, we organised a photo session in their favourite area of Berlin, the underappreciated Wedding (then we went to Mauerpark where a friend of ours, Sergio, was waiting for us). After few shots they started feeling really comfortable with the camera and got in the diva mood (Beyoncè rendition? they were the biggest fans of a celebrity I have ever met!). Let's go back to jatsbaaar! http://andrejrusskovskij.com/?p=575

Holga 120 N camera with Ilford Delta 3200 pushed one stop when developing. I had a Pocket Wizard on the hot shoe of the Holga control one Alien Bee B800 with a medium sized Octobox (basically one studio light). It really was a blast controlling a studio light with a Holga!

Our good friend @gauthierdumonde asked us to help his homemade masks travel the world in his blog-post here: http://www.lomography.com/homes/gauthierdumonde/blog/85255-mask-swapping-my-mask-wants-to-see-the-world (stolen from Buckshot's lomohome!) UPDATE: This has just been selected by LSI. Thank you! But I think http://www.lomography.com/homes/gauthierdumonde should get a mention as well as it is his mask. So THANKS A MILLION gauthierdumonde!

Después del escaneado profesional, estos son los resultados. Usé un filtro naranja. After scanning professional, these are the results. I used an orange filter.

  • Ashtray on a Winchester street

    shared by buckshot on 2012-08-06

In 1519 Winchester was chosen as the capital of the kingdom of Wessex. In 827, Egbert the first king of all England was crowned here. It then remained the capital and the most important city in England until the 11th century and the arrival of William the Conqueror. William had himself crowned in both London and Winchester, and declared both cities to be capitals. However, by the 14th century Winchester had lost its place as the second most important city and began to evolve into what it is today: a small, sleepy, provincial town - but still an amazing location for photographers! P.S. If you haven't tried Ilford XP2 yet, you really should. It's black & white, but designed to be developed using standard C-41 colour processing - which means your local high-street store can process it in 1 hour. Instant gratification guaranteed! ;-)

  • Lisbon Story - Winter time

    shared by anafaro on 2012-08-25

A collection of pictures from my last Christmas holidays in Lisbon. Lisbon is such a blessed city, that the sun shines all year round. As you can see, many of my photos turned out a bit wacky and overexposed. I'm so used to London's gloomy days that I don't know how to take pictures ant more when the sun shines - very depressing thought indeed...
