First roll with my 1933 leica iii. Jealous of @captainfantastic with his inherited family heirloom leica, curiosity finally got the better of me and i splashed out on one with the 50mm 3.5 collapsable elmar lens. I like the results enough to shoot another roll although none of the images seem especially sharp to me which leads me to suspect that the rangefinder is not totally accurate . However, I won't be in a hurry to re- calibrate it as to me the softness has i kind of magic to it that i don't necessarily want to loose! All the images are taken off the contact sheet except the ' girl with the corkscrew hair' shot which i printed and scanned as normal.

The softness is probably more the film than the lens. Nice look.

@malcolm_tremain they're all a bit out of focus Malcolm, even though I stopped the lens down to f8 for most of them. Unless I've developed very shaky hands its most likely the rangefinder is out. Thanks mate.
