I love, love, love Lomo's Redscale film. I really do. I wanted to do a set with JoAnn that would highlight this versatile and extraordinary medium and all that it can do in the realm of glamour and nude portraiture. So I fed it lots of reds, yellows and greens at golden hour and couldn't be happier with the results. I got the playful, warm happy vibe I want from my portraiture and it was definitely in part due to this rad film.

Shot Beth and Tori while playing a game of Scrabble. I lied, we faked the game of Scrabble. The moves, positions of tiles, etc are all simulated to add authenticity to the shoot. Hell, even the level of the wine glasses were carefully controlled. Too bad my flash didn't cooperate for two of the shots! Tori and Beth were wonderful and several of the shots are lifted by their awesomeness in front of the camera.

I had mistaken in the development of the film the first developer with the color developer. Fortunately, I had a good scanner (CanoScan 8800F).

  • Can I Put 220 Film in a Holga?

    written by katherine-lynn on 2011-07-06 #gear #tutorials
Can I Put 220 Film in a Holga?

Will a roll of 220 film fit into your Holga? Do you have to make any special modifications to use it? I found the answers by reading articles online, but more importantly, through trial and error.
