Shooting a Photograph of Someone Vs. Taking Someone's Portrait

There's a difference between merely taking a photo of someone and making a great portrait. The first shows a person, the second tells something about a person. This article contains one hundred photos of the latter.

Underexposed multi layered photo. I can imagine there is a true sense of wonder and isolation soaring above the clouds in a baloon looking down on Earth. There are a lot of reasons this lomograph is one of my favorites. It is my most popular lomograph. It is a double exposure and I love doubles. I also love hot air balloons and hope to one day ride in one.

Wow, thank you all so much for the likes and sweet comments. But I am not the one to be credited for this particular pic. I asked my friend Victoria, @immpuls , to snap a pic of me so I could finnish this roll. So head over to her home and give her some cred! :) Shirt: H&M T-shirt: Topman Shorts: Topshop Camera: Diana F+ Edelweiss Love, Annelie

From the Oberkassel bridge, xpro in E6. Visited this place before, during the day, and decided that it must be a great place for long exposure, as there is one end of the tunnel that leads all the cars through the city. In the background, you can see the beautiful rhine tower, where you can normally read the actual time by counting the lights. But at every full minute all lights are glowing, so it is not possible to read the time in this picture.
