    @charliedontsurf Thanks! You would have loved the scan. Absolutely empty it was so underdone. Then I inverted it and it was literally black ... I thought ... hmmm ... equalized it and VIOLA! there it was. Like paint by numbers! LOL

    @mike1allison ah, if all else fails hit it with the gimp equalizer lol.! Been there done that!

    @charliedontsurf hey you always have to see what the equalizer has to offer! The last hope of a desperate artiste. The equalizer always saves the day.

    @mike1allison I used to use it quite a lot in the early days. I've tried editing colour shots in gimp and never can get the right hues, its put me off developing my own colour film.I guess when I do have ago I will need to invest in Lightroom or something.

    @charliedontsurf I used gimp for some things but I usually start off in an older version if photoshop. I've learned a lot about needing with shadows and hues and what not. I found out in this roll the light I was trading to scan to my camera its actually too bright in the middle of the scan. So some of the inconsistencies might be in my process rather than the negatives. I swapped that out and I think my scans will be more even thus saving the gimp and photoshop a lot of work.
