Primer redscale casero! Estoy contenta con los resultados de mi primer redscale casero, utilicé un fuji superia de 200 ASA. Las fotos las hice durante un paseo hacia casa de mis padres. =)

In the early 90s, I went on a series of canoe and bicycle trips down or along the Red Deer River from Tolman Crossing to various points as far as Dinosaur Provincial Park. I discovered a number of abandoned homesteads in the river valley which were frequent subjects of a lot of film. These are some of my favorite shots.

Lennie Weeks runs a local tire store in nearby Greenfield. He's a cool guy of a certain kind that one tends to find here in the hilltowns of western MA. His little store has all kinds of fountains, buddha statues, mandalas and a nice seating area for customers to relax and wait for their tires to get changed. I've enjoyed reading his ever changing signs on Federal Street for years. For the past few months I try to stop and grab a snapshot of the various messages whenever I pass by.

I was living in Kyoto, one of the most popular area especially in autumn red leaves season, in my early twenties. But didin't know a lot about photography then. Since I started lomography my strong desire for KYOTO WITH LOMO has been geting bigger and bigger. ( I haven't seen any lomographs of Kyoto ever!) In this autumn I finally could visit there with LOMOs and enjoyed just one day lomowalk. Needed 3 days more at least! I had nice time anyway :)

An old abandoned building, at one time probably a church. Shot with pinhole. Shaky and spooky!!

I had never tried cross processing tungsten before but I am sure glad I did. Had these scanned by the lab and was shocked when I got back such vibrant colors!

A drive that should have taken me a half hour stretches into a 2.5 hour photo hunt. Warm summer evening full of storm clouds, made even better with lomo redscale xr.

Underexposed multi layered photo. I can imagine there is a true sense of wonder and isolation soaring above the clouds in a baloon looking down on Earth. There are a lot of reasons this lomograph is one of my favorites. It is my most popular lomograph. It is a double exposure and I love doubles. I also love hot air balloons and hope to one day ride in one.
