Film soup experiment -Xpro-
shared by hodachrome on 2012-09-12After shooting a film, take it into a dark room and open the film. Then sprinkle hot water filled with baking soda all around on the film, with flicking my fingers. Rewind it and put into a pan and pour water, and boiled it for about 5 minutes. Rinse and dry, and cross-deveop it. Done! This psychedelic result is not what I expected. I will cook some more anyway =)

Dolphin Sky
shared by hodachrome on 2012-07-02My favorite series of various landscapes with dolphins. Shot dolphins first at aquarium. After finished a roll I set it again and start shooting landscapes, with a selfmade 'half-gradation (from black to clear) filter' to reduce the amount of exposure of upper half. Only a few turned out nice. Study more and try again!!

Exposing Both Sides of the Film
shared by hodachrome on 2012-06-20First trial of EBS. Shot twice on correct side first, in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside), with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). Then shot twice on redscale side as the same way as 1st run, in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200, with a splitzer. It's tough challenge because I had to wait for the best weather for each shots, and had to be careful with 'gaps' between frames. Each 4 images are shot at random in this case. Have a look at my article about this technique: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs

Exposing Both Sides of the Film
shared by hodachrome on 2012-06-20First trial of EBS. Shot on correct side first in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside). Below half was masked with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). Then start shooting on redscale side in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200. Upper half was masked with a splitzer. The order of each location is precisely the same as 1st shots. I took notes in details about locations and shot all places with iPhone, to remember locations. It's tough challenge because I had to wait for the best weather for each shots, and had to be careful with 'gaps' between frames. This is not bad result but I found some mistakes. Both sides of the daily life
shared by hodachrome on 2012-06-27Exposing both sides of the film (EBS). I shot on correct(normal) side first in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside). Below half of the lense was masked with a splitzer. Need patience, concentration, and accuracy for this challenge. Plus must be careful with 'gaps' between frames.
