Hello Anna and welcome to Lomography Magazine! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? How did you get into analogue photography?

Actually, in my Tumblr phase I came across Lomography.de, and sometime later I bought a Diana mini. It didn't captivate me yet, but when I inherited a Werra and an analogue SLR from an aunt, which I still can't identify, I started to take analogue pictures. That was about six years ago.

What was your experience with the LomoChrome Metropolis? How do you like the film compared to other experimental films?

So far I only tested the Metropolis and the LomoChrome Purple, I like that both are very contrasty.

With the Metropolis, the green is not quite as obvious as the pink of the LomoChrome Purple, I like that too. It makes the colors cooler without taking away any radiance, I noticed this especially when I took pictures with flash and in the sunshine.

Have you experimented with different ISO values and lighting conditions? If so, what do you think about the results?

I like the shots with flash and in bright sunshine best. The contrasts are rich and the shapes and colors of the subjects come out great.

The Yashica with which I photographed sets the ISO value by itself, with the Canon I set it to 200, in my opinion, a good average.

Do you have a favorite picture from this series? If so why do you like it so much?

I really like the cat on the car, although the picture is blurred. The reduced colors and the antenna, which could be her tail, plus the huge eyes - she looks alarmed and the red in the picture further emphasizes this expression.

Tips and tricks for future LomoChrome Metropolis users?

Taking pictures with your favorite camera is always the best thing you can do with a new film. Otherwise; just don't be afraid of possible unexpected color changes and experiment with everything that comes through your head and appears in front of your feet. I will do more of that next time!
