2 1 Share TweetIn 2017, Kazuyuki Ohmori launched Pasha Style, a media outlet specializing in portraiture, and is currently active as chief editor and photographer. We asked this experienced photographer, who has been taking photographs for 15 years, to try out our brand-new Nour Triplet V 2.0/64 Bokeh Control Art Lens. Let's take a look at his first impressions and the photos he captured.
Hi Kazuyuki, tell us about your shooting style.
Fashion portraits.
What did you like most about this lens?
Where the focus is shallow and of course the unique bokeh.
What makes a good portrait in your opinion?
Portraits with an expansive view of the world.
In which situation did you use the lens?
The theme was relaxed fashion. I did the shoot in a park with a lot of nature to express peacefulness.
How did you use the creative bokeh control function of the lens?
I used it to create the "trance" feel.
What makes this lens different to others in your opinion?
The depth and unique photographic expression of bokeh.
How did the Bokeh Control function help you in your portraiture work?
I combined it with relaxed facial expressions.
This lens uses the over-correction or under-correction of spherical aberrations to produce these different creative bokeh looks. In your opinion, does beauty come from imperfection?
Modern lenses are too good. The aberration control obscures the too good, making my images more unique.
Thank you to Kazuyuki Ohmori for sharing his experience of the Nour Triplet V 2.0/64 Bokeh Control Art Lens and wonderful photos! Check out his other works on his instagram !
