Lomography Update: Announcing Our Website's New Browse Feature

4

We have exciting news! We are currently working on a new feature for your community browsing experience that will allow you to mix and match metas when searching photos to discover more and dive deeper into the treasure trove of photography and Lomographers on the website.

For the longest time, Lomographers have only been able to search one meta at a time when shifting through our website. With this latest update, we will be able to filter all photos by cameras, films, lenses, countries, cities, dates, times, and users – all at once! With all the new possibilities of searching it will be much easier to get inspired and see all the unique combinations that exist.

While we are working on this new feature, some Lomographers will see a message appearing while navigating our site, allowing them to make use of this enhanced browsing feature. Feel free to tell us what you’d like to see from this new browse feature. And if you’re interested in testing it out for yourself, let us know in the comments!

Now let's take a look at some examples of cool combinations of metas we searched for using this tool:

Neptune Convertible Art Lens System x Berlin Kino 400 Film

The Neptune Convertible Art Lens Systems is one of our most unique offerings since it is multipurpose. Combining this lens with the Berlin Kino 400 shows us some striking wide and close-up shots, highlighting the range of the lens. Check all results for the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System paired with a Berlin Kino 400 Film.

wil6ka × Lomo LC-Wide and LC-A 120 in North Korea

One of the coolest features is that your LomoHomes are also part of the fun when it comes to combining different metas. Here's an example where we take a look at Lomography Pioneer @wil6ka's photos and check out his once-in-a-lifetime trip to North Korea shot using the Lomo LC-Wide and LC-A 120.
