Hi Morend, it’s great to have you here at Lomography! Tell us about yourself. What do you do? What are some of your interests?

Hello, it's a pleasure to be here at Lomography! Currently, I am deeply immersed in the world of creativity, focusing on creative content and commercial talent. Alongside this, I'm passionately steering my own brand, Bymm, reflecting on my journey, which spans over 11 years in this industry. I've cherished every moment of this lifetime process. I thrive on challenges, always seeking to keep things interesting and dynamic.

What is it like to be Morend Maharani? How do you spend your week?

My week is a dynamic mix of activities. On weekdays, my time is predominantly dedicated to work, navigating through a variety of tasks. Even during the weekends, I
find myself engaged in work projects, embracing the freelancer lifestyle. It might sound a bit routine, but I surprisingly love the rhythm of my days!

How did you like shooting with the Simple Use Reloadable Film Camera? What do you like most about it?

Shooting with the Simple Use Camera has been an absolute delight! What I appreciate most about it is the seamless and straightforward experience it offers. The simplicity of the camera enhances the joy of capturing moments without any technical hassles. The user-friendly design allows me to focus on the creative aspect of photography rather getting caught up in complex settings. It's a perfect blend of convenience and creativity, making the Simple Use Camera a go-to choice for capturing spontaneous and memorable shots.

Can you tell us about what you decided to shoot with the Simple Use Camera? What do you think about the results?

I decided to shoot everyday moments with the Simple Use Camera, and I love how the results capture the authenticity of those moments. The camera's simplicity added a unique charm to the photos, making them feel genuine and nostalgic.

Do you have any favorite photos taken with this camera?

These photos (below) made me feel nostalgic.

What do you think is the perfect situation for shooting this camera?

For situations wherever you want to embrace the raw and the unscripted. Whether it's a day out with friends, a stroll in the park or any moment where the simplicity of the camera can bring out the authenticity of the experience.

What is one thing you have been dying to explore further (anything from a place to a particular subject)? What is your dream project?

I've been eagerly yearning to explore collaborations with individuals from different countries, delving into diverse perspectives and cultural influences. My dream project
revolves around the opportunity to work with a global team, bringing together a fusion of ideas and creativity from various corners of the world.

What projects are you currently working on? And do you have any projects in particular you are looking forward to?

Currently, I'm deeply immersed in managing and growing my brand, Bymm. It's an exhilarating journey that allows me to explore and contribute to every aspect of the business, from the creative side to strategic management, marketing, and retail operations. I find great joy in overseeing the entire spectrum of my brand. Looking ahead, I'm particularly excited about seamlessly blending it into people's lives, as it presents an opportunity to enhancing their daily experiences with practicality and simplicity. This project aligns perfectly with my passion and vision for Bymm, and I can't wait to see the positive impact it will have on the brand's growth and success.

What’s in the works and what’s on your mind?

I was just thinking about working with a Lomography camera – jetting off to another country with my Lomography camera, capturing the essence of new places. The idea of
a photo adventure with Lomography is definitely on my mind, and it sounds like a whole lot of fun!
