@superlighter On some aperture priority cameras, a weak battery can cause shorter shutter speeds. Try new battery. 2nd possibility, stiffening lube can cause fast shutter by opening delay, shortening shutter speed. Find camera repair shop and get it CLA'ed, costs US$45-55 where I live. 3rd possibility, electronic failure, making wrong exposure, board replacement, costs US$55 + parts where I live. Good luck.

@herbert-4 This camera has a very strange behavior. think that if I insert the little plastic cover for the flash shoe the camera stops working completely!

@superlighter Sounds like a short circuit under hot shoe. Could be only small repair, could, also be a dying main board electronics. Sounds like a repair requiring parts and money and repair shop. Electronicly run cameras are not easy to repair. I had a Yashica Electro 35 I gave to Harry at Camera Max for parts. The shutter stuck, and the shutter is a rivetted module that cannot be disassembled. Anyway, find a repair shop, and good luck.
