   I like to see a man enjoying his work :) Lovely bit of grain in this series.

   @malcolm_tremain I think it was tasma kn3 with rodinal. The work I was hating, I don't normally take on painting jobs but it was for an old customer and he was kind of desparate so I took it on, the whole house, bringing it up to scratch it for a holiday let, he's been making about 1500 quid a week out of it ever since, soon got his money back!

   £1500 a week? That's not a bad income for doing not much! I think the Tasma in the home-made ID11 works pretty well, nice smooth tones and not a lot of grain. I like the look of this series though.

   @malcolm_tremain its a 3 bedroom cottage in st Agnes, can accommodate 3 couples so I suppose its not so bad split 3 ways. But its a sign of the times I'm afraid, there's hardly a rental property on the market down here, every one with a shed In the garden has jumped onto airbnb.

   @charliedontsurf I'm afraid property has become the only safe way to store wealth. With close to zero interest rates the value of savings is being burnt. Property is where all the money is going now. Can't blame anyone for wanting to protect their cash, it's just a pity that so many people will probably never own property in future.
