   A classic in cream. Did you keep the original pickups or put in some other ones? Also, did you take some of the spring off the back? Most of the guys I know, take two out of the five. Easier for the tremolo I guess?

   @guypinhas : the pick-ups are the originals. but the guitar was repainted before I bought it, it should have been black. The pickgard and buttons should be black too. Everything else is in its original condition. I don't want to touch it because even though it's not the best year for the fender, I do like the sound of this guitar. The vibrato springs are all there. One day, I will change it for a vintage fender, because, again, the vibrato of the 1979 Stratocaster is not the best and it goes out of tune quickly and very often.    @roundmidnight Great paint job though. And as long as this guitar brings you joy, who care about the rest. I was just curious, from one geek to another :)

   @roundmidnight I was designed and custom made guitars for some British band ~like "Two door cinema club" , "The Vaccines", "The Wombats"...., now I made guitars for me only hehe (I hand wound pickups for vintage 54~63 Fender sound, but for blues only)
